MMS: Good morning everyone! EVERY student at MMS will have the opportunity to attend the Isotopes game next Thursday, May 1st. Permission slips have been sent home, please return that ASAP so that we can get an accurate count for tickets. Please check with your students about their grades! This quarter and semester's grades impact Athletic Eligibility for Fall Sports! Also, 8th grade students can't have more than 1 F on their report card in order to be recognized at the MMS 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on May 21st. Let's make sure that we have all work submitted! MMS: Just a final reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday 4/18 nor Monday 4/21 for students. Students need to log in and work on assignments that teachers have posted! Summative testing is complete with a few students needing to do makeups but the number is really manageable and we can't thank you enough in assisting us through this endeavor! We can't wait to see the results because we are confident that our students our going to show out! Be on the lookout for another field trip form, this one to the Isotopes game on May 1st! MMS: Hello everyone! A couple of reminders. Tomorrow is our final day of summative state testing! Please assist us in having chromebooks charged and students being present and on time! Encourage great effort! We will have a final round of testing in May but that will be less disruptive to our schedule, more to come on that at a later date! We have no school this Friday 4/18 and next Monday 4/21 is a remote day. Teachers will assign work that needs to be completed but students do not need to log in for live sessions with their teachers. Lastly, progress reports were sent home today! Ask your student about their progress report! Thanks everyone. Be well!
MMS: Happy Monday! We have a shortened week with no school on Friday 4/18. We have the English Language Arts component of testing this week. Session 1 Tuesday and Session 2 Thursday. Last week was one of the best week's of attendance that MMS has had all year. We appreciate the collective efforts to have students on time, with charged chromebooks and then their effort on the tests! We hope all of that continues through this week! Softball and Baseball host Estancia today 4/14. Both are on the road tomorrow and Thursday. MMS track has a meet at Bernalillo on Wednesday. It's a really busy week! There is no school Friday 4/18 or Monday 4/21. Monday will be a remote day. MMS: Hello all, I just want to thank all of our families, students and staff for their efforts with Math testing. We had 94% attendance today for testing! Some students showed up despite not feeling great and persevered through the test. We greatly appreciate those types of efforts. MMS will trend upward in achievement with that type of mental toughness! Next week we will assess English Language Arts, 1 session Tuesday morning and one Thursday morning. 1/2 way done! MMS: We want to shout out our families for assisting us so greatly with state testing. We had 97% of students present today for the first day of testing. Teachers reported that students gave great effort and chromebooks were fully charged! MMS: Good morning and welcome back everyone! 8 weeks to go! I hope everyone had a great Spring Break. MMS softball has home games today and Thursday. MMS baseball is at Belen Thursday. MMS Track is home on Wednesday. Come out and watch our athletes in action! Next week we begin our NM Summative Assessment for Math. We will test Session 1 Tuesday, 04/08 morning and Session 2 Thursday, 04/10 morning. Please encourage your students to do their best and show what they know! MMS: Good morning and happy Monday to everyone! NM State Science testing has begun for our 8th graders! We wish them the best of luck and that they show us the knowledge they've developed this year!
